Abstract:
The method of fundamental solutions for the theory of finite span wing with small thickness in steady compressible flow in linearized approximation is extended to the case where the wing forms either an open or closed almost cilindrical surface.A singular integral equation for the pressure jump of the same kind as in the plane case is obtained.
