Abstract:
Science and technology at the nanoscale, the scale of individual atoms, are revolutionizing our ability to manipulate matter. Using the current experimental tools, we can image individual at-oms and position them to create nanoscale architecture with customized functionality. The effort to make the nanoworld accessible and comprehensible to everyone, by inexpensive and widely available means for modeling the materials and tools that are parts of nanoscale sci-ence and technology. This contribution makes an introspection and explores the possibilities to implements the latest news in nanotechnology at school level and prove how to use LEGO- bricks for exploring the fundamental physical phenomena in nanoscience teaching.
