Abstract:
Artworks like icons and pictures are dangerously affected by biodeteriogen factors, who affect paint, tempera or pigments in oil. Color stability during irradiation depends on the wavelength and exposure time. Is present a new undestructive method. Samples were exposed at UV light for a precise period of time. Color change was monitored after each test. The results proved that samples present no changes. After UV lamp irradiation, reflection curves made of spectrophotometer samples present no change, too. Was made a bulletin board service in Access, to accentuate colors no change. Another irradiation we’ll be might, at other wavelength to see it effect to the colors.
