Abstract: With the project MaST Networking, quality in the development of competencies in Mathematics, Sciences and Technologies we had as a purpose the creation in schools of Innovation and Creativity Workshops through which teachers could guide their students in the realisation of activities that involve the practical application of the students’ knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology. Innovation and creativity mean, before other things, efficient solutions to the problems. In the Innovation and Creativity Workshop are presented examples of attractive experimental and relevant activities which are realised with common materials and low costs.
In this new informal created frame, students have the possibility to imagine, project, build, test and improve machines, models, instruments that finally become products including their theoretical background. The aim of this paper is to present a kit created to be useful in such a workshop, a kit that allows the realisation of some relevant experiments. In addition, we will introduce a few Physics practical papers through which students’ creativity can be stimulated.
