Abstract: School education, lately confronted with a new structure of social-human requirements, must define new goals, give another direction to instruction and formation, so that the graduate could face the complex problems they are supposed to deal with. This paper points out the tendency of the modern didactics, of Physics, towards a methodology focused on student. The methodology focused on student can be materialized by applying some active-participative methods. The central idea of these methods is that the learning process belongs to the student and capitalizes the fact that students have some really nuanced abilities, learning capacities and also capacities to approach reality.Using active-participative methods during Physics classes, the teacher should create some learning situations in which students` instruction be adapted to each and every student`s capacities and needs and forming competences involve varied processes and mental operations. The particular thing about teaching Physics is that it implies creating and developing cognitive, affective and motion abilities needed for the typical tasks while studying this subject, but it also means getting new thinking values. Therefore, a Physics lesson represents a proper context for applying some active didactic strategies conceived as differentiated instruction, the variety of types of lessons, of organizing ways and of modern teaching modalities, as well as the experience and the teacher`s personality ensuring the success of all these educational steps.
