Abstract:
In the past decade few authors attempted to search interesting features of the radiation of a specific neutron star:the magnetar. In this paper we investigate some features of the motion of an electron in a strong magnetic field as occurs in a magnetar atmosphere. We have applied the conditions of the superelativistic electrons in super-strong magnetic fields proposed by Gonthier et al.to express two specific spin operators and their eigenfunctions. We have done this in order to investigate into a further paper an estimation of the cross section in Compton process in strong and superstrong magnetic fields in relativistic regime .
