Abstract:
In the last decade there was under debate the issue concerning the composition of the ultra high energy cosmic rays and some authors suggested that the light composition seems to be the one. There was another debate concerning the limit of the energy of gamma rays. The bottom-up approaches suggest a limit at 1015 eV. Some top-down approaches rise this limit at about 1020eV or above. The present paper provides an approach to estimate the limit of the energy of gamma rays using the recent paper of Claus W. Turtur.
