Title: Qunatum Dots produced by Nanolithography with an Atomic Force Microscope

Abstract: In the past decade the interest in nanostructures of Coulomb-island type has increased, due to their peculiarities in electronic and/or spin transport phenomena. It has been demonstrated that starting from the conductivity one may resolve the quantum states of the system. In this work we report some results on electrical transport in zero and non-zero magnetic field in a multi-terminal quantum dot. The dot was fabricated by Local Anodic Oxidation (LAO) with an Atomic Force Microscope (AFM). The measurements were performed at low temperatures (aprox. 17K) with magnetic field ranging from 0T to 5T.
