Abstract:
The lifting surface equation is obtained after a limit of the z-component of the fluid velocity . The difficulty occurs because the integrand becomes singular.Many authors use in their proofs interchanges of limit and integral or derivatives which are mathematically incorrect.In this paper we proof rigorously the validity of the limit by the aid of the singular distribution theory.The integration is carried out by transforming the singular integrals into regular integrals and simple singular integrals which are integrated analytically.
