Abstract:
The growth of carbon nanowalls (CNWs) by radiofrequency plasma beam enhanced chemical vapor deposition is reported. Hydrogen plays an important role in CNWs growth, in order to see its influence a set of samples were subjected to hydrogen treatment. Hydrogen analysis using 1H (19F, αγ) 16O resonant nuclear reaction was carried out at the IFIN-HH Bucharest 9MV Tandem Van de Graaff accelerator and hydrogen concentration depth profiles were obtained. The hydrogen depth profiles reveal the presence of high hydrogen concentration at the surface region.
