Abstract:
A new magnetic undulator structure for free electron lasers with two beams is presented. The permanent magnets have alternating magnetisation, transversal on direction beams. The x magnetic field produced by magnets are spatially periodic. The x, y and z magnetic field components were analitically and numerically evaluated. The versatility of this structure permits new developments in the undulator design.
