Abstract:
Acridine orange was recently used in biosensors development to detect precursors for synthesis of cosmetics and drugs. Due to its potential as mediator or as substrate for electrochemical sensors, this study deal with one technique of polymerization on screen printed electrodes (SPE) with gold-working electrode - electropolymerization with appropriate solvent. The polymerization of the acridine on gold electrode surface were investigated by Raman, FT-IR and AFM spectroscopy. The SPE was tested by cyclovoltammetry response at a series of biochemical precursors, particularly to neurotransmitters. The electropolymerization method open a new perspective to design sensors based on molecular imprinted on the gold surface.
