Abstract:
In many practical aspects need, ready for use thin foils and bundle micro and nano-fibriles in ropes where the properties should be combined with high mechanical strength and thermal stability. In this respect, we report a method to obtain conducting PAni micro-wires in PAN matrix using deposition in thermo-centrifugal field. The films have a very good anisotropy in electrical conduction over percolation threshold determined by chain orientation. FT-IR, AFM and optical microscopy used for characterizations show a high degree of orientation of the macromolecular chains and follow same anisotropy as in electrical conductivity. The films have strong attenuation in large frequency range from KHz to MHz.
