Abstract:
In this paper we propose an extension of Prandtl`s lifting line theory to arched wings of high-aspect-ratio.The aim is to evidence the effect of the curved geometry on the aerodynamic efficiency.The generalization is based on an integral formulation of the problem,which resembles the one used for a plane wing.
