The PPP and PPV synthesis methods are still extensively studied due their special physical and chemical properties such as electrical conductivity, thermal and chemical stability.
The paper presents two electrochemical methods for PPP and PPV synthesis. One is based on obtaining and using the active chloride during the polymerization, by HCl electrolysis and the second one is a secvential method, the catalyzing and oxidation of precursors being carried out in separated steps.
The reaction products have been analyzed by spectroscopic methods – Raman, IR and UV-vis.
