Abstract:
We discuss some possible phenomenological connections between the numerical study on the evolution of a three-dimensional, relativistic, many-body system, and the formation of Quark Gluon Plasma. In a previous work, we presented the numerical analysis of a simplified, bi-dimensional many-body system. For the three-dimensional case, the old VB6 application was completely rewrote in C#, using also DirectX. The asymptotic freedom property is introduced by employing a harmonic term in the bi-particle potential. In this context, we considered also some results obtained from a semi-classical study, applied to the constituents of nucleons (stationary de Broglie waves applied for the case of a 3-body problem with classical closed trajectories - Lissajous). Another quantum input comes from using the Fermi-Dirac statistics. We tried to establish the QGP transition temperature by monitoring the evolution in time of the Lyapunov Exponent, the average system radius, and the statistics of clusters.
