The turbulent structure of the 3C449 radiogalaxy jet

New observational date on the spatial structure of the galaxy 3C449 jets may improve the existing models for this type of active galaxy. We present here the main results obtained after analyzing the new data for 3C449. Under the scrutiny were the turbulent character of the jets and especially the possibility of detecting sign of Kolmogorov turbulence. Fractal analysis shows fractal dimension in the jet tail between 1.7 and 1.83 confirming the supposition of Kolmogorov turbulence in that region. Further analysis will give us the possibility of 3D reconstruction of the entire jet.
