Abstract:
In this paper we will present a set of three-dimensional simulations using the symbolic calculus and graphics facilities of the Mathematica program. The simulation represents the density of probability of localization of electrons in coulomb fields. We use the Schroedinger equation in spherical coordinates and compute the density of probability of localization in every point of the space using the angular component given by the spherical functions and the radial components as hypergeometric functions.
