Abstract:
In this short talk I briefly review the curent literature on nonpolynomial Schrӧdinger equations for the dynamics a Bose-Einstein condensates and introduce a novel nonpolynomial equation which describes accurately the dynamics of hight density condensate. The key ingredient of our equation is a versatile q-Gaussian ansatz.
