Abstract:
The nucleus has been studied on the reaction 58Ni(28Si, 2p)84Zr, at the projectile energy of 90 Mev. The experiment was performed at INFN-LN Legnaro, Italy. Gamma rays were detected at the GASP spectrometer, with 40 large volume germanium detectors, and 80 BGO crystals. The energetic resolution of the the GASP multidetector is 2.4 KeV. The ISIS silicon ball with 40 (E, (E) telescopes was used to select the desired channels through coincidence with charged particles. In our data analysis we insisted on the identification of the low-lying collective states of , the quasi-gamma band of the nucleus has been identified and errors from the previously reported level schemes were corrected. The new identified levels and also a systematic study in the neighbouring nuclei suggest a vibrational structure for at low excitation energy.
