Abstract:
The temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity and thermo-power of single crystals of TiO2 (rutile) implanted at room temperature with W and Sn ions with a fluence of 1015 cm-2 at 150 keV were studied. An activated conductivity with a constant activation energy is observed in the high temperature range (200-300 K). At low temperatures (down to 10 K) it is concluded that the variable range hopping mechanism is responsible for the current transport.
