Abstract:
Gas exchange in biological systems are important factors in physiological processes. Bronchial trees or pore conductance in leafs or eggshells are such system under examination.
We showed that the structure implied are self-similar and this can gives some advantage over the random structure of airways distribution.
In the communication, we will give some of our results for the pores distribution of the eggshells (with reference to chicken and dinosaurs eggshells).
Some general consideration about optimal structure of the self-similar structures of airways morphology are presented.
