Abstract:
The nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energies offer conditions for different phase transitions in nuclear matter. To evidence different behaviours of the nuclear matter in diverse collision stages a complete analysis of the physical quantities related to the particle yields are needed. The presnt work consider the behaviours of some physical quantities - multiplicity, cross section, particle production ratios, rapidity - to investigate the possibility to evidence phase transitions in different experiments at energies between 0.8 A GeV and 200 A GeV. A discussion on different phase transitions and some connections with the most recent experimental results in experiments performed at Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) from Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) are included in the paper. The possibility to introduce the rest mass dependence on the nuclear density and hadrodinamic models to explain some experimental results are, also, included in the work. New interesting behaviour of the multiplicity and cross section in central and peripheral collisions - for the mentioned energy range - are reported, too.
