Abstract: The present paper suggests a concentric type approach of physics teaching in high school. Unlike the classical teaching, in the concentric circle system suggested in this paper, the simple to complex knowledge acquisition is not done according to the student’s age. In the progressive concentric circle system, the intellectual forming starts by understanding the initial principles, continuing with analyses, valuable criteria and judgments, opening for the student, the original searching field. The idea of psychological stages is motivated by the fact that the evolution of the knowledge has as a starting point the intuition, from which it is gradually starting to the notions and further on from a small sphere but with a larger content, to a larger but with a reduced content notions. The concentric type system of teaching Electrostatics for example considers the level of perception and understanding of physics phenomena, the stored mathematical knowledge, the skills, the reasons and interests of the students. Such a system takes into account each student, the students’ personal rhythm from a group being quite similar concerning the learning potential.
