Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to present the nephelometer as an very useful device for atmospheric studies.Nephelometer is designed specifically for studies of direct radiative forcing of the Earth`s climate by aerosol particles,or studies of ground-based or airborne atmospheric visual air quality. It may also be used as an analytical detector for aerosol particles whenever the parameter of interest is the light-scattering coefficient of the particles after a pretreatment step, such as heating, humidification,or segregation by size. The light-scattering coefficient is a higly variable aerosol property.Nephelometer measures the angular integral of light scattering that yields the quality called the scattering coefficient.Data obtained by using nephelometer must be validated to ensure that all reported measurements are accurate relative to the overall scope of the quality assurance program.Conseguently in this paper the data validation process based on specific criteria was applied on data sets to test the accuracy of the measurements.
