Abstract:
Within a microscopic approach of Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer type for the interaction between quarks and antiquarks we study the mechanism of spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry inside a quark droplet described by a MIT bag model. The role of boundary conditions on the vacuum properties of this system is evidenced and a comparison with other approaches is performed.
