Abstract:
The number of the students who choose the eLearning courses grows every year, due the collaborative learning approaches used, such as: Google documents, Wiki Web sites, or e-mails. These approaches and asynchronous learning are able to produce positive learning experiences to the students. A person, adult or child gets in to keep in long-term memory (learning), the knowledge or the skills acquired through positive experiences, which meets their needs. The collaborative learning is a student centered method for learning with activity focused on student own educational experience. The students aim this learning because: the control of this activity is equally distributed between teacher and student, the appropriate level of student knowledge is low, the character of the activity can be negotiated and the students obtained key skills which are very important for them (such as: Social, Cognitive and Self-knowledge skills). The utilization of Wiki Web sites, Google collaborative documents and e-mails increase the students implication and confidence in their eLearning activities.
