Abstract:
Photovoltaic polymeric blends based on MEH-PPV:PCBM(1:4) were prepared both on optical glass and flexible substrates. ZnO nanoparticles, different amounts from 0.1 mg to 0.3 mg, were added on PEDOT:PSS solution. All the polymeric films were deposited by spin-coating technique. The samples were electrical and photoelectrical characterized, at room temperature. The I-V curves were drawn in dark and in AM 1.5 conditions, respectively, and the obtained results were compared. The photovoltaic cell parameters, fill factor, open circuit voltage and short-circuit current, were calculated for all prepared devices and compared. Photoelectrical measurements indicate that the ZnO nanoparticles have a positive influence on the conversion efficiency, reducing the serial resistance of the structures and improving the stability of the cells.
