Abstract:
Environmental pollution is one of the most debated issues in the world because pollution is currently a major threat to humans and environment (air, water, soil, flora and fauna). Action for air quality monitoring treated in the article is useful in that it provides direct information with regard to: i) the concentrations of tropospheric ozone O3, NO, NOx, during 2005 and 2008 in three major segments: urban, suburban and rural areas; ii) the effects of tropospheric ozone on the environment and human health. Conclusions of the study are that emissions of gases that impact and ozone pollution from road traffic affects the population and the environment when pollutants exceed the limit values current legislation.
