Actual sportive technique complexity is requiring new “technologies” to discover the mechanisms of human body motions, which are used to increase performances. Modern directions are coming from biomechanics, an applied science dedicated just to discover these mechanisms. In this study, our investigation on the motion in gymnastics is presented. In fact, we present a biomechanical (and mathematical) model of the giant swing.
