Abstract:
In spite of the good agreement between the Standard Model (SM) and all confirmed collider data, there many open questions beyond SM. Many of these questions will be addressed, if not completely solved, by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Among them is finding new elementary particles, already predicted by many theoretical models. We simulate the charged heavy lepton pair production through Drell-Yan mechanism using different Monte Carlo generators. The production cross section is determined including corrections introduced by several extensions of the Standard Model and a comparative analysis is shown.
