Abstract:
Dental prostheses are parts obtained from various materials such metal alloys, ceramics or polymers, through special technological processes. Physico–chemical properties of prosthetic dental works are influenced by material type and structural changes that may occur during laboratory processing. We investigated prosthetic works used in dentistry, obtained through heating and casting process of different metal alloys. Microstructure of the metal alloys is the main parameter with influence on chemical, physical and surface properties of dental restorations works, having a not very simple microstructure and being very sensitive to various manipulation conditions.
