Abstract:
The goal of this talk is to present some new homogenization results for the Poisson-Nernst-Planck system, modeling the ion transport in charged porous media. Our approach is based on the periodic unfolding method for periodically perforated domains, recently developed by D. Cioranescu, A. Damlamian, P. Donato, G. Griso and R. Zaki.
