Abstract:
The work presents the currentapproach of the school curriculum of the suject "Sciences", theoretic branch, humanities section, philology, 10th grade approved by ministerial order number 3252/13.02.2006. The Swot analysis found in the first part of the essay highlights the necessity of scientifically educating of young generation, the main frame of reforming the educational system. As a strength of this analysis we are presented the physics and chemistry teachers concern of the interdisciplinary treating of the scientific content. Introducing globally and interdisciplinary scientific concepts contained in the two chapters: "Universe and Earth" is an objectve necessity in order to form competences that must be developed in the superior stage of high school(11th-12th), for humanities profile. Also, the paper presents a proposition regarding the concepts of the "SCIENCES" curriculum, 11th grade, theoretical branch, humanities section, philology, thus: Chapter I will include: Earth - the blue planet integrated in Universe (Laws underlying the Universe; laws of gravity; Sun-source of life on earth;matter-matter strucure-atom-chemical elemnts-radioactive elements-nuclear reactions-real life applications; chemical composition of Earth crust; chemical reactions found in nature; water, oxygen, carbon dioxide and its circuits in nature; natural phenomena-rain and water properties, water pollution; on human metabolism-energy issues, calculating daily caloric needs). Chapter II include: special projects in virtual laboratories, which may contribute to scientific education in "ecologicalspirit". This paper contains detailed methodological suggestions, for teachers, on the use of new information technologies in teaching-learning-evaluating.
