Abstract:
The nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energies represent a unique tool in the investigation of the behaviour of the high excited and dense nuclear matter, as well as of the possible phase transitions. The values of the critical parameters for a given phase transitions can be modified by the previous phase. One of the interesting phases of the nuclear matter is the so-called resonance matter [1,2]. This phase causes a decrease of the fireball temperature, according to the number of resonances produced. The formation of the resonances could affect the interactions, too. For example, some interactions could be mediated by resonances [3-5]. Taking into account these aspects we try to analyze the possible influences of the resonance matter formation on the nuclear matter behaviour for nucleus-nucleus collisions in a broad energy range. Previous own experimental results (SKM 200 Collaboration), as well as new experimental results (BRAHMS Collaboration) are used in this analysis. A significant decrease with the increase of the beam energy is expected. Some results are compared with the predictions of a few simulation codes (SHARE, UrQMD).
