Abstract:
A series of composite materials based on mesocarbon with nano-Fe/coated carbon additions were studied for their electrical and magnetic promising applications. The composites have the following nano-Fe/carbon coated weight percent concentrations: 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%. They were heat treated at 460„aC (the mesocarbon formation temperature) and 900„aC (the carbonization temperature). This paper analyses the structural properties of these composites by XRD. It is revealed that the lattice parameters are strongly influenced by the concentrations and the applied heat treatment.
