Abstract:
In the study of the adhesion phenomenon, there are some problems to solve: - the nature, the number and the intensity of the interactions established at the interfaces and their role in the adhesive behavior of the surfaces; - the formation and mechanical behavior of the interphases; - the interdiffusion phenomenon and its influence on the interfacial breaking energy. The diversity of the materials used in assemblage and the variety of the assembling conditions make almost impossible the study of a unified model that could describe all the involved mechanisms. Depending on the studied system, it is better to use the most probable model and to study the appropriate parameters that can improve the adhesion. References: 1. D.E.
