Abstract:
The aim of the paper is to treat the theme of the interaction liquid crystal – polymer surface and especially the way this interaction is reflected in the electrical and optical answer of the lop-sided cells CRYSTAL – POLYMER – ITO LIQUID – ITO. Two polymers under layers were used: the polyaniline directly set on the electrode in the solution during the polymerization + the polyaniline set in the plasma and electronic oxide set using the sol-gel method. It was noticed an improvement of the electrical and optical answer for the lop-sided cells ITO-CLN-ITO and the fact that the conducting mechanisms depend on the polarity, the system behaving like a rectifier diode.
