Abstract:
Helioseismic holography (Lindsey and Braun, 2000) is a technique used to probe compact structures on and below the solar surface, such as active regions and sunspots. Using this the technique Besliu-Ionescu et al. (2005) have discovered more than a dozen sun quakes. We have also begun to do a complex interpretation of the observed phenomena by comparing the helioseismic data with other types of observations, mainly Halpha chromospheric and white light images. We will present here a study of time variations of the white light emissions of seismically noisy flares. We will show strong correspondences between acoustic signal and white light maximum emissions.
