Abstract:
The classical method of charge evaluation for particle tracks in photographic emulsion consist of delta-rays counting for charged particles (over 8 units of charge), or gap counting for smaller charges. The methods proposed eliminate many of the subjective factors of direct examination method, proposing a computer code special designed in that purpose. The preliminary results, shows a good accuracy and reliability of the method.
