Abstract:
A main problem in the studies of dielectric sample by EPR spectroscopy is to connect the results obtained FOR the paramagnetic species with the host properties. We present a study of the EPR spectra obtained from a small spin probe dissolved in the glassy polystyrene. The environmental effect on g-factor is analyzed by multi-frequency EPR spectroscopy. We identified the effect and the connection with the polymeric chain conformation.
