Abstract: This paper presents a manner of approach the study of heat engines using the virtual simulations and the stellar explosion technique. Sometimes is almost impossible to tackle the reality in the form in which it is presented, therefore, it use virtual models and simulations. The simulation was performed using Jasc Animation Shop. This program creates animations starting from more graphics images and offers a variety of effects and transitions. The main advantage of this application is to make the things accessible even for inexperienced users who have never used an editor. Users can easily import multiple images automatically for build animations. Animations can be quickly and easily modified. Learning through the classical methods is difficult, without very good results and often consumes a lot of time if it wants to achieve an acceptable level of the school performances. Therefore, the teachers are solicited today, continuously, to promote efficient, participatory, active and creative learning. Thus, at the study of the heat engines can be integrated into the lesson the stellar explosion technique. This method, permit the writing at the centre of a star of the studied idea and at the corners of this star will be written as many questions related to the chosen subject. The initial questions may generate more questions. By the questions are created many connections between concepts. Students through accessing Internet and other sources of documentation can search answers to the formulated questions. Using the active-creative strategies in education determines involve the students in research the surrounding reality, pleasure of discover and learn, development the personal initiatives. This can create the positive feelings of confidence in their potential, the desire for knowledge, fulfilment, motivating the future activities. Thus, in paper are analyzed the effects produced by these methods on the students and on the educational process.
