Abstract:
The program is destined for X-Ray Tomography raw data simulations in parallel geometry for testing the Filtered Back-Projection (FBP) mathematical Reconstruction algorithm. The user can change the image objects and its attenuation coefficients, the projection number, the number of detectors and also can change the filter type and the interpolation technique. The program has a module that introduces gauss-shaped statistical data fluctuation and also a systematic error, simulating in this way real tomographic data. During the program run the user can save the data to a file, use the data from files to reconstruct the simulated data and can visualize the data using various graphs and images.
