Abstract:
In this paper are presented the results of the analysis of a ferroelectric liquid crystal. A ferroelectric cellule was investigated using the confocale microscopy. This investigation offered the information about the CL topology.
The results obtained were confirmed by elctro-optical and polarization measurements.
The variation of the elasto-electrical behavior of the liquid crystal cellule with temperature was also analyzed.
