Abstract:
The solar radiation, before reaching the surface of the Earth, goes a long way through the terrestrial atmosphere, during which it suffers significant changes. The authors studied the evolution of the direct solar radiation, measured at the two synoptic ground stations in Moldavia (Galati and Iasi), in period 2000-2009. Daily solar radiation values were analysed for July and January (the months which characterize warm season and cold season, respectively). The correlation between the direct solar radiation and principal meteorological parameters was observed and relationships beetwen them were obtained.
