Nonexponential decay of Floquet resonance states

Abstract:
Using the expansion of resolvents near thresholds, as developed by Jensen&Nenciu, we found an analytic formula approximating the decay law of a formerly bound state of periodically perturbed systems. When the frequency of the perturbation is close to the distance between the bound state energy and the threshold of the unperturbed Hamiltonian`s continuous spectrum, nonexponential decay laws are encountered. We checked our results using numerical computations for some particular systems.
