Abstract:
New experimental results on charged particle production, rapidity distributions, momentum spectra, nuclear temperatures and antiparticle to particle ratios are reported. These results have been obtained using the spectrometers include in the BRAHMS experimental set-up. The large coverage in rapidity range permitted an analysis of the experimental results for different collision geometries. The influences of the collision geometry on the collision dynamics are discussed not only by the condition of equal numbers of participant nucleons. Interesting contributions of rapidity bin and impact parameter could be considered. These results support the previous results on phase transitions in highly excited and dense nuclear matter formed in nucleus-nucleus collisions at RHIC-BNL energies.
