Abstract:
In this paper we present a new tool for data analysis and modeling of SANS (Small Angle Neutron Scattering) specters obtained after the investigation of carbon based material structures. This framework was developed using C++ and Root platform (http://root.cern.ch). This program was first developed in order to have the possibility of comparing the experimental data with theoretical models which describe the possible carbon based materials structures. The following theoretical models were implemented – polydispersity models (based on exponential distribution, Gaussian like distribution, Schultz distribution, Log-Normal distribution) and fractal models (Unified Exponential – Power Law Approach). This is the first step in developing a “toy” Monte-Carlo generator based on different distributions functions in order to describe and visualize carbon based material structures.
