Abstract:
The measurements of the asymmetry effects in the 35Cl(n,p)35S are difficult because are affected by a serious background and the cross section is very small (of order of mb or lower) where the effects have high values. In this paper it was realized the Monte Carlo simulation of the forward – backward (FB) effect on targets with finite thickness and were obtained the simulated proton spectra. Also it was proposed a simple formula for the extraction of the experimental FB effect from the experimental spectra. The FB effect together with other asymmetry effects like left – right and parity non conservation help us to extract the weak matrix element.
