Abstract:
The problems of the interdisciplinary approach in the Romanian learning have rested along the time at the level of some attempts, or even a few punctual achievements. The transposition of what we call the interdisciplinary approach in the educational medium of the all levels learning rest at the teachers’ disposal. However the first steps were made in 1999 by the National Council for Curriculum by means of the edition of the programs “Sciences” for the classes III-VI and III-VIII, which provide a departure point in the integrate teaching of the subjects from the curricular area “Math and Nature Sciences”, a curriculum which was conceived as a cross-curricular one, according to the domains: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and their common themes. The problem of the growth of the learning efficiency needs to form the pupils’ skills and habits with a high generalization level as being formed during a school subject’s study can be applied also during the study of another school subject and then in self-education and the practical activity. Among them we have to study first those with a knowledge character, the skill of independent work using the special literature as well as that of made experience and observations. These skills can be purchased by means the study of the school subjects which form the nucleus-curriculum as well as the curriculum at the school’s decision. By proposing of some Physics optional lessons taught in an interdisciplinary approach we will manage to offer to our students a solid basis of knowledge necessary for instance to their participation to the junior Olympic contest as well as to the next graduated pupils, able, we hope, to identify the information sources by comparing, selecting, summarizing and correlating them while the teachers will know to educate, to cooperate and to combine the resources of the school subjects in the interdisciplinary perspective and permanent education. They will have to be able to approach starting from the own school subject the problems of the contemporary world.
